Background

Fujian Telecom in 2005 for the very first time, in ODS project  implemented MicroStrategy products as a tool for report display, the purchase was included 18 named users. With project developed, the first CRM applications ODS platform needed more MicroStrategy project users. By the end of 2005,  12 named users were added, and all MicroStrategy named users were created as CRM system report generater. And with applications developed to find that ODS platform system in the future were needed many MicroStrategy functions. In 2006, Fujian Telecom purchased more named users.

Project

ODS project in Fujian Telecom is a data analysis platform of new generation of management applications, data source is existing core business systems, such as billing, network management, sales support are data foundation for CRM, network optimization, marketing analysis and other systems; CRM is the first management applications on ODS platform in Fujian Telecom, this successful systems implementation has great impact on other systems in the future.

For our partners, their achieved an unprecedented high efficiency, before MicroStrategy was implemented, 6-8 programmers are needed to design 10,000 business reports and analysis. Now only one just graduated junior engineer can handle large report requests from users with more understanding of MicroStrategy products, almost all the developers really love this product.
