Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center  is approved by the People's  Bank of China and joined by nationwide 30 province-level rural credit union associations, rural commercial banks, rural cooperative banks and Shenzhen Rural Commercial Bank to sponsor establishment of a national joint shares financial clearing services company, and also others kinds of joint shares financial service institutions approved by the People's Bank of China. Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center is allowed to process bank drafts, real-time electronic exchange, personal account clearing services among national rural credit centers, rural credit associations, rural cooperative banks, rural commercial banks and other local financial institutions.

Project Background

Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center Report System (Rural Credit Banks Payment Business  Statistics Report system) design, it is to meet the rapid growth of  Rural Credit Banks Fund, good for all levels of management and staff positions related to business convenient, quick query, statistics, business requests analysis for information requests and improve business efficiency, and also providing statistical analysis for the next step timely decision-making basis. 

For better services to Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center report system project , ETH worked with Pervasive together in Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center. Pervasive's integrated solutions of data collection module helped Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center report system increasing working efficiency.

Pervasive's Role in Project

In whole report system, Pervasive provides powerful and flexible functions of highly efficient data processing capacity. After successfully building Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center's data warehouse 3-tier structures to fulfill the requirements of data arrangement, and also is capable to sort out any sudden request for new data. Pervasive is in a pivot role to connect old and new systems, and reporting systems for Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center. 

During implementation process, Pervasive Software eliminated the requirements of large coding. Before Pervasive, it was manual coding for data conversion in each data migration to repeat manual coding. Pervasive's powerful and low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) integration engine can support even large-scale enterprise deployment. 

Pervasive introduces intuitive drag-down interface (as shown (Graph 1) below) and combines with CODE integration, so that this will not need much programmed skill, and mainly need to realize   process rules. This kind of integration increases higher efficiency performance than before.

In project deployment, Pervasive's integration products are able to deploy in single one, very lightly to embedded engine, or to total centralized management in service-oriented architecture (SOA) adapter by client's requests.

Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center project deployed Pervasive Integration Engine on AIX platform. Integration Engine is the core in integrated product line. Integration Engine can process different complicate objects in different projects (see Graph 2 below), including extract, transform, load (ETL) projects and B2B integration (HIPAA, HL7, ACORD, X12 and SOA adapter). In addition, Integration Engine is easy to embed SDK and command-line interface, and to control accurately through external applications. Pervasive engine can be configured into the expanding requirements in any integration projects. 

In project management, Pervasive framework provides an open XML database to store all the settings and rules, which defines the integration task the implementation process. To store XML integration rules provides a strong flexibility to make integration requirements changes easy by design projects, and also supports different department individual development.

In Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center ETL projects, one feature of rapid implementation is to increase availability of Pervasive reusable integration rules, this decreases development cost and single component can be shared between clients and integration tasks. This “reuse” structure has greatly enhanced the efficiency of new project development, while reducing project's development costs. As the database itself is an XML file open systems, it can store integration design different components in different content. Therefore, in order to facilitate large project management in latter project schedule, design structure will be a work space, and can be divided into user names or project names. 

In this project in, Pervasive engine (Integration Engine) deployed in AIX platform to create another  feature in ETL project development, this is the realization of the optional two platform mechanism (AIX platform and Windows platform), in the latter part of ETL maintenance process, regardless of whether if it's data normal operation, or run wrong, or update structure requests, maintenance personnel can choose either one platform that is optional manual maintenance or auto repair on Pervasive. This feature makes more prompt and efficient response to customers more and risk of error is relatively smaller. 

Features

Pervasive's special features and functions are crucial to the success implementation of data warehouse in Rural Credit Banks Funds Clearing Center.
